Thanks For The Memories

by Aline Coutu

As Aline Coutu sits in a pew, listening to the eulogies given for her beloved husband of fifty-six years, she begins to recall her life with him, expounding on the deep love and dedication they undisputedly shared for over half a century. In addition to touching on the family difficulties of her own childhood, Aline takes the reader on a journey through marriage, children, death and most importantly, what it means to live.

From the beginning of their marriage, a marriage her mother said “would never last,” Aline and Al know this is a “match made in heaven.” They work at various occupations and eventually plan and build a unique residential equestrian center housing thirty or more horses and accommodating guest riders from throughout the United States and several countries abroad. Through it all – financial worries, health and family issues, and the fear of the unknown – Aline and Al love each other unconditionally, together like newlyweds throughout their relationship. Thanks For The Memories is a profound autobiography that will encourage readers to believe in the simplicity of love while inspiring them to never settle for anything less.
