ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Theodoric Manley, Jr., is a professor at DePaul University in the Department of Sociology. He holds a B.A. from Tarkio College, an M.A. from Colorado State University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Theodoric has four children— Geneva, Theo, Violet, and Marzell. He is a member of the American Sociological Association and has previously published The Black Metropolis Revisited.
